in capital cities there's a market place (trade channel) and a socializing place (squares,parks,libraries or whatever).
and NO spam has never been limited to dis1....wherever there was ppl there was spam.....and communication betwen peers has been impossible creatin a sort of single player experience where the only intercation is sellin.
perosnally what anet did is too little to late...ppl who enjoy socializing ingame have allready quit the game....but at least hopefully new potential players will not be scared away like the ones who bought nightfall and quit the game on their first enterin of kamadan.

2. I said: In a dis where there are 140/150 people trading. You can't expect to find a descent conversation since they are all there to trade. You'll have to look elsewhere to chit-chat.

Mod and weapon (gold inscribable stripped ones) traders FTW, That would be enough, no auction system needed, anmd this system is already applied with guildwars so it should work without any problem.

SOme people will argument that the "economy" will be destroyed. No an economy cannot be destroyed, it can only be good or bad. This woul be bad for sellers, but would be good for customers, so bots and goldbuying would be less relied on, except for buyable titles. I sell and buy stuff. I would like to see a weapon and mod trader.

I'll agree that it's getting better but it's still pretty bad.

I opened my chat screen to the total length of my screen (it's a 19 inch viewable) and sat in LA, AD1 last night for 15 minutes. I got 7 screen caps from those 15 minutes. I took one after the message from the original one disappeared.

I have noticed an absense of spammers in other area's so I know anet is doing what they said they would. I think if more people did what I did last night, for only 15 minutes, we could get rid of just about all of them and send the others a message.

The better solution would have been an auction system or merchants for mods, weapons, etc. But ANet took the easy way out. Either way I guess it's better than it was before so I give them some props.

Kudos to you ANet, a huge thank you from me, one of the best things that you could have done for the game right now, short of a full trade system overhaul.

Log into Kamadan, not a Trade out of pink, I was amazed really. Not even in Keineng.

And I actually could talk to a couple of strangers in Shing Jea.
